Like a rainbow
fading in the twinkling of an eye. GONE TOO SOON.
Jake passed away on 19th november 2006 at Kings College hospital, London.
Jake first became ill in january 2005 with acute liver failure, he was put at the top of the liver
transplant list and was fortunate to have a transplant within a few days. He seemed to recover well
from the transplant until 2006 when his body began to reject his new liver.
He was put back on the transplant list but sadly died before another liver could be found.
He leaves behind his mum and dad DOROTHY and MICHAEL an older sister MELANIE and a younger sister
LAURA
Jake was an amazing young man and was liked by everyone who had the privilege of meeting him.
He had a great sense of humour and there was never a dull moment when Jake was about.
He was a great drummer and played in a band called Borrowed Time, he also played guitar and
keyboard.
We all miss Jake more than words can ever describe, but feel very proud that he was our son and that
we had the privilege of bringing him into the
world,if only for a short while..

I was a fairy in a flower
God himself hand picked me
And gave me angel power
Now god has many angels
That he trains in angel pools

And because god is so busy
With way too much to do
He said that my assignment
Is to keep close watch on you
When he tucked me in your pocket
